It's been ten years since the discovery of the supernatural. Ten years of persecution of the shifters, ten years of worship of the fae, ten years of fear from the vampires.
It was decreed that all shifters must be moved to 'shiftertowns', small rundown towns outside of civilization. Most shifters did so, but grudgingly. The force of the human military was something the shifters did not want to mess with. The shifters seem to have taken the move in stride, improving the meager towns they were forced into.
The fae were worshiped. Their powers got them far, many high spots in government and the like. And the few seers there were were exalted, becoming quite famous in the human world. The fae began helping with crops, and just helping humans in general - partly in fear of becoming hated like the shifters... and the vampires.
The vampires. Now, that was something all humans wished they could just kill off - but they knew if they did such, there would be a massive retribution. Many people carry crosses, holy water... you know, all the superstitions. But the vampires stay hidden, and with a little help from the fae, hidden even better with daylight totems.
But recently, there has been activity in the shifter world. Some of the shifters are getting very tired of being subjugated, and are beginning to attack humans - even in broad daylight. Most vampires have aligned themselves with this group, wanting the power they had before.
Will there be all out war?
