Shifters
There are many different types of shifters, and many different things those shifters can be. They are broken down into five subspecies, canine, feline, ursine, avian, and reptilian. Listed below are acceptable species under each shifter subspecies. If you wish to be something other than what is listed, message the admin!
Shifters often form packs or clans, lead by an alpha male or female.
Even in their human forms, they have slightly advanced senses. Hearing, sight, etc. They also heal faster, and are stronger, than normal humans.
Shifters may only shift into ONE animal.
They shift with their clothes in place.
Their life span is about the same as humans, perhaps a little bit longer. They do stay healthier longer however, and even in their old age are nearly as formidable as when they were younger.
Fae
Fae are magical beings that walk among the humans and shifters. Their magic mostly relates to powers of the earth and elements, but can manifest as healing powers, telepathy, or (though rare) telling the future. Seers are revered in their culture, as they are so rare.
They appear as normal humans, but may either have strange colored eyes or an unusual hair color.
Most fae have one gift, but rarely may have two.
Possible gifts:
Earth manipulation
Plant manipulation
Fire manipulation
Water manipulation
Weather manipulation
Healing abilities
Telepathy
Foretelling
Some fae have also figured out how to bless objects that allow vampires to walk in the daylight, but this is rare also, and not many fae will do this for a vampire.
Fae are immortal. They stop changing their appearance at around 25, earlier or later for some fae.
Humans
Just your normal, everyday human.
Humans are mortal, with lifespans averaging 75 years.
Vampires
Creatures of the night are a rarity, but they are seen. They prey on humans and fae alike, but rarely mess with shifters unless they really feel like fighting. They can also drink animal blood if they are more sentimental about humans.
They cannot go out in the sun, unless carrying an object blessed by one of the fae.
Vampires are immortal. They stop aging at whatever age they were bitten at.
