Personality:
On first encounters with Alik it’s easy to say that he’s not much of a talker, however those who know him can better decipher this trait as respectful. He has developed quite a moral compass and will gladly return the same amount of respect as he is served. Despite his lack of words to begin with he still holds a comfortable aura around him in the presence of almost anyone. Alik trusts in his own abilities to keep things stable, only when he knows things aren’t weighing out correctly will he drop the relaxed and calmness around him.
There’s two sides to Alik; one being the heavily trustworthy, friendly and calm side to him. The other being Alik in a stressful situation where he is at rock bottom for ideas or something personal against an individual. The latter of two sides is a serious force not to be taken lightly as he can become quite cold and uncaring towards his enemies very easily. Though honourable, there’s a point where Alik is unafraid to act out on his own terms- no mercy if his patience is tested. He’s not very forgiving yet merciful most of the time, however in some cases that’s up for debate.
Putting aside his role as a leader, he is a great friend to have in your circle. Alik is easy to get along with if he likes you and if it goes well he can be made a great friend or ally. He is far from traditional and lacks the heavy judgement of labelling someone based off of their race, to an extent. He’ll still have his doubts though he’s one to give certain people chances if he believes they deserve it.
Though open to accepting individuals for different reasons, you will find that he is still one to naturally take charge and want things done his way. This is likely because he trusts himself out of everyone he will ever know. While others might find this annoying it can be seen as selfless as sometimes Alik wants things done his way so people don’t need to get tied into things.

History:
Born in the U.K. to a slightly well off family and into a “group” of sorts that consisted of bears, a few wolves and bird shifters. It wasn’t an official pack like some of the other ones. The group only had one leader and that was Alik’s father. Strangely, he admired both his parents for their ability to take care of others as if they were blood yet Alik wasn’t too close to them. They were role models but the family never were too close when it came to kids and parents.
The group of shifters that Alik grew up with was abruptly left behind when his mother and father agreed to move, more specifically to America with his uncle. The family thought it was best to move after they found themselves battling against a large pack of wolf shifters. Quickly the family joined a pack of shifters, however this one consisting of just bears. For awhile, as Alik grew, the pack viewed the family as somewhat outsiders still. He especially grew a disliking towards the alpha at the time.
Around the age of 18, turning 19, Alik had witnessed enough from the alpha’s reckless behaviour and hatred towards him and his family. It was the last straw when his uncle was cast out for not “pulling his own weight” enough. Challenging the alpha, Alik being young meant he was smaller but being agile was on his side. Winning the fight, he made the choice to kill the former alpha instead of just exile. The pack of shifters hated his new reign at first though Alik’s cold shoulder to the stares worked in his favour as the hatred died down. Members of the pack began to like him as an alpha for his moral leadership.
At around 20, news broke out like a plague as the supernatural was discovered. They were no longer safe from the public and his pack, along with others, were cast out to “Shiftertown”. He hated the idea but he was forced to agree, as long as the pack was safe.
