Sophia just needed time away.
And so, she shifted into her wolf form inside Shiftertown, and just ran. Running had always helped her clear her mind, and this was no exception.
The wind whipped though her fur, and she began to pant, as she just continued to run. She had no destination in mind, instead just let her feet take her where they wished.
She came upon the lake and slowed, finally. It was the most perfect place at the moment. Not too warm nor cold. This was the weather she liked the best.
Shifting back, she stretched towards the sky, a yawn escaping her. She did love to run, but now she was out here... though she relished the quiet. It was so busy in Shiftertown as of late, the rumble of upset humming quietly throughout the town. She was working her hardest at trying to keep the peace, and sometimes she really wished that it wasn't all on her shoulders.
A sigh escaped her lips as she sat down under one of the trees near the water's edge, leaning back against the tree and looking out over the water.
This was perfect.
